(Federal & Community Foundations of Canada)

“The Healthy Communities Initiative will provide funding to a broad range of organizations, including local governments, charities, Indigenous communities and nonprofits, for projects, programming and servicesthat help communities…Projects in public space take place in any space owned or operated by a municipality, the provincial or federal government (e.g. sidewalk, streets, park, recreation centre) or non-commercial organization (e.g. non-profit or educational institutions), or Indigenous communities…Projects for the public benefit - safe and vibrant spaces, improved mobility, digital solutions - include projects serving specific communities that have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19.”

RESPONSIVE NEIGHBOURHOOD SMALL GRANTS 

(Vancouver Foundation, Association of Neighbourhood Houses)

“Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) is a grassroots grant-making program that provides grants between $50-$500 directly to individuals…small grants to empower and reshape communities. These grants are dedicated towards funding events and projects at the neighbourhood level in order to build a stronger sense of community and belonging.”

Dates: Starting February 23, 2021 -  ongoing while funds are available

NAVIGATION AND PEER SUPPORT GRANT CALL

(United Way) 

Healthy Aging by United Way (HAUW) is launching a new Navigation and Peer Support (NPS) granting stream focused specifically on the gaps in information and referral (I&R) services for low income, higher needs seniors who require one-to-one support to access needed services and government benefits.
